Looks like a good idea but the manufacturers are catching up. Ford and Porsche have a new keyless system which is supposed to stop people being able to scan the key. It’s got a motion sensor and the change has been enough for Thatcham to up the rating on the new Macan to superior. Whatever that means, but it’s a lot better than before!

Mrs Sacamano bought a small pouch for £7.95 that cuts out the signal 100% and does the same job.

I bought one for a tenner from Halfords and had to take it back for a refund as it didn't work

The worrying thing is just how long it's taken for them to catch up and, of course, that these systems were so easily defeated in the first place. |

If it was me I'd buy a bright yellow Disklok, which acts as a clear visual deterrent in the first place. And a cheap RF blocker pouch.
