Piers might know more - he’s seen it as his 135 is parked behind! Looks like he's becoming the forum's BMW re-seller of choice...taking over the role previously held by Munich Legends!

Yes,
I think Piers dropped his off earlier in the day. Jason mentioned he was waiting for me to view the 330i and mentioned my name - cue Piers to comment ‘I think I know who you’re talking about’ - small world!
One downside discovered on the 330i is lack of Bluetooth which is pretty important in my role. I know Parrot etc do some good aftermarket kits but having it standard would be a plus. No heated seats either - I’ve definitely got used to a decent level of FG!!
The car drove very nicely though, felt sluggish next to the 640 out of roundabouts but most stuff does to be honest. The older gearbox was a little lazy but in ‘sport’ it responded well and once I remembered an N/A petrol needs to rev out it sounded nice and went pretty well. From 4.5k upwards it really picked up speed and started to sing.
It’s only done approx 3k miles in the past 2 years and probably needs a good thrashing - I can’t remember if the gearboxes in these ‘learn’ and change character over time.
Suffice to say I’m tempted although it’s slightly depressing how close in value a 2015 640d and a 2006 330i are - but that’s the depreciation curve for you!
Anyway, if not this one it’s at least given me pause for thought!

Well, The E90 330i (and a familiar 135i) are now on Jasons website 330i - www.jasonbarker.co.uk/shop_detail.asp?product_id=380According to the description it does have heated leather after all. Photos look good seeing as they were taken on a very gloomy Sunday afternoon. Still tempted O.

That does look great. The only thing missing for me are xenons, which are not only obviously a lot more powerful, but they look better than the standard halogens as well. But I suppose considering the relative rarity of N52's, especially in that condition, you might consider it worth going for. That generation of ZF gearbox was suppose to adapt to your driving style. Purely personal, but a manual would be fab with that car. If its an auto you want, ideal!
