It's an interesting programme.
A poorly educated bloke gets wrongfully imprisoned for a murder, 18 years later gets out and is awarded chunky compensation against the police dept, some woman then gets murdered and the same police dept nick him and find her car badly hidden on his property (a scrapyard) despite them accusing him of being some criminal genius who managed to hide his tracks very well. The way it's presented it's a clear fit up but then you know you're at the mercy of the film maker so maybe it isn't quite so cut and dried.
Series 2 is watchable for the defence lawyer - that person clearly used to be a bloke!
Tell her to also watch 'The Staircase'.

Not that I can see, I got it from a site I have since lost that doles out free albums once a month so the title might be wrong but the list of tracks is in this screen grab. It would appear to be a compilation of tracks.  |

I read this on holiday. Probably a total of four hours reading time involved, which feels like twice as long as it took to write. if I described it as utterly unbelievable shit I would be doing unbelievable shit a severe disservice. Shallow characters, a plot made up of sequences that could not occur even in ones drunkest imagination and a conclusion that makes films like Last Action Hero and Predator seem like documentaries. You can assume this review is not a recommendation.  |

Driving home yesterday from a day out, we were listening to the 70's show on R2 with Johnny Walker. He replayed a 1-1 with Jimmy Page from 2014 as he's not having live guests at the moment. Never have I heard a musician who is so far up their own back passage. He talked about himself in the third person all the time. He described Led Zep as a collection of superb musicians who were so influential that they were truly great etc etc. He may be able to play the guitar but boy does he have a high opinion of himself.

You can end up going down a rabbit hole though, going from one video to the next.

I do that with reaction videos all the time. I started with Lost In Vegas, then ended up with Jamel AKA Jamal, plus loads of others. I love watching them react to songs I know inside out and waiting for a particularly blinding bit to hit them unexpectedly. (Such as the high notes in More Than A Feeling or the guitar/vocal exchange from the end of Pantera's Cemetery Gates)

Finally got to seeing The Handmaid's Tale. Series 3 went a bit off piste in the middle, but recovered later and it was generally pretty gripping stuff. Serie 4 in supposed to coming out in 2021.
