There are a few colours very similar. The LCI 4 series can be had in Snapper Blue which is very similar. I think the M2 is Long Beach Blue but I don't know if there is much, if any difference between them.

There was a brand new M4 Competition pack in Mineral Grey parked outside my BMW dealer earlier which looked great.

A 912 but these are fetching serious money, too rich for me unless my numbers comes up. Difficult.

This. www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201705185583132The MC21 is the one I've not had. I've had an 18 and a 28 but this is the truest-to-GP-bike 250 there is. £7k is a bit heavy (I'd go for it today if it was £5k) but it is an SP (dry clutch, tricker suspension) so I can see why it's so much. Biggest problem: 3 miles from home so a bit too tempting. I'd only use it on sunny days.

Trade seller so he probably bought it for £5K! It would be rude not to at least have a look.

I don't think most people would notice - every E CLass now seems to have AMG badges and odd-shaped twin exhausts (or at least a silver bit on the rear apron pretending to be the exhausts) so they'd have to be aware of the significance of there being twin exhausts each side

A home built special with folded aluminium chassis, clad in a lightweight body. A three cylinder motor with an electric motor between the engine and gearbox. Not a Lotus Elise.

How did I know it was going to be an Alfa - before I even looked at the link?!

Bugger. Still, as I mature I find the Brera is becoming more attractive. Well, it's maybe maturity, perhaps I just need my eyes tested!

Nice...but I like my Invictas either S-Type flavoured or Black Prince flavoured.

Interesting car. Reading the history I was at school with the owners son Anthony Forshaw who if memory serves he was always picked up on the last day of term in a DB6

I also have a liking for these. Wasn’t James Bond’s original car a Studebaker?

Definitely a left field choice of performance car. So much about those is desirable and yet so much also says Toyota "Lego" parts bin at the same time.

The two things it would/should be are fast and reliable which in the world of astronomical bills make it quite desirable.

It’s a Lexus. No matter what the performance I’d feel like a retired New Yorker in Florida on my way to the golf club.
