Based upon UN and featuring in a book I am reading at the moment. Charts life expectancy and adjusted income for the world's countries, with size indicating population and colour geographical area. Play button in the bottom right runs it through year by year, and you can use 'find' on the far right options list to tag a country and generate a trail of its progress.
The author's point was (for he has since died) that although there is much still to do in making the world a better place, our expectation that things go from bad to worse is startlingly at odds with the facts.
