At our local roundabout twins, they NEVER follow rules of the road, we just have to accept the police will do nothing so let them go ahead.

The Rondabout Twins sounds like a female wrestling team.

Going by the amount of glass shards around them, they are.

Not sure if it classes as villainy or stupidity but I've just seen the aftermath of an accident on our high street. We have a hardware store with a small car park behind which is accessed by a narrow lane which is only wide enough for one car. A Vauxhal Grandland was turning in but had to wait for a car coming out the lane. The Corsa behind managed to rear end it with such force that, being a lower car, it got wedged underneath. The high street is currently closed as the fire brigade have been called out to try and separate the two vehicles and clean up all the diesel that's leaked out the Geandlands fuel tank.

We used a stretch of dual that had both a static and a mobile camera on it, so was sticking to the limit of 50. The overtaking lane was moving more quickly so we were using that. Astra GTC comes storming up, and I can see he's already undertaken someone. Gets so close that I can't see his headlights at all, then moves left. It's amazing how easy it is to ensure that the gap which someone like this is looking to use to barge ahead is never quite big enough.
So, that's probably two villains, then...

Keep up the good work!

What you always hope for in those situations is for the person who was behind them in the right lane also manages to close the gap. So satisfying when it works.

I went along my favourite stretch of road (not!), the M4, yesterday. So many twats just driving along in the middle lane.
'Course, I forgot about the 50mph section from Reading onwards, like I always do, so by the time I got where I was going I weren't happy!

Muppet in a Corsa this morning. He followed me a couple of miles in a 2 way 30mph stretch which then becomes 4 lanes and 30mph. As we got to the 4 lane section there was an M&S Artic ahead which was straddling both lanes on our side at the next set of lights (not without reason because the local authority numpties narrowed the road in a few places and made the little used pavement wider meaning the lanes aren't wide enough for big trucks and buses). I went to the outside lane and the Corsa went up the inside just as the lights changed. The Corsa then put his hand on his horn repeatedly and was gesticulating away. The artic just stood his ground and a mile or so later the Corsa had to fall back and pull in behind me but not before he had made a couple of lunges up the inside of the lorry with his headlights on full and his horn blaring in the hope the lorry would move.

Some prick in a silver Audi estate with beaming headlights. Oh wait, that's been me. I've never driven a car that gets flashed at (by oncoming traffic at night, Bob) so much. Having said that the lights are great when you're the driver, it makes the BMWs seem like mere candles.

Weirdly, I find BMW lights the most dazzly. Those and Range Rover ones anyway. The latter is because they're so high off the ground.

Had exactly the same thing this morning. Different van, different roundabout, same result. This time, though, there were two cars ahead of the van, so they got showered, too. I'm going to avoid roundabouts on the way home tomorrow morning! And again. I think WVM doesn't realise how quickly that Q3 can go round a roundabout and thinks he has time to nip out in front of it. Mind you, lots of others pulled out right in front of me on the same journey, so maybe I've accidentally turned on some sort of cloaking device I didn't know the car had? It seems to be completely invisible to other road users...

I think if I had the opportunity to nip out in front of a Q3, I’d take it, but I’d know better if it was a special blue colour!

Everyone's doing it deliberately because they think you're a 40-something woman and because it's an SUV you MUST be speeding (but only in town). So basically the other road users are carrying out a public service duty They just haven't realised that you're NOT a 40-something female.

Had it again last night on the way to work, except it wasn't a white van it was a little Shitroen one. He was dispensed with once we reached the NSL bit and he was only doing 50.
Maybe I need to clean the headlights?

A litte conftontation this morning with a dickhead from the village who failed to stop at the zebra crossing during the walk back from school. OK, so legally, you must only stop once a pedestrian sets foot on the crossing but deliberately driving over it as someone is about to step onto it is gittish in the extreme. He then dived across the road into a large space to park as someone else was signalling to pull left into it. The space was also the bus stop, so extra git points. Then, after "some words" he pulled up next to me further down the road and had another go whilst his missus took a photo. This prick parks within the zigzags most days, too. The council may as well take that crossing out. I've never known such a widely ignored zebra crossing as that one. Especially on the school run. Are you not able to pull your warrant card from your pocket at such times? I did. He was even more of a prick then.

Moron in a Fiesta ladt night. Another one who thinks because a vehicle is turning into the junction they are waiting to emerge from, they can disregard the car behind the turning vehicle and pull out. Then, when you're right up behind it and flash your headlights, they stomp on the brakes... Twat.

It's actually the opposite isn't it? Even off duty, you have a, err, duty.

I thought he'd committed an offense so therefore you were duty bound to pull out your warrant card and hes lucky you didn't choose to take it further.

Then, when you're right up behind it and flash your headlights, they stomp on the brakes... Twat. You see it all the time on YouTube dashcam clips. Cars that have pulled out in front of the camera car then stamp on their brakes when the camera car flashes their lights and beeps their horn. I just don't understand what makes them think it is acceptable to potentially cause an accident and what they think would happen if the car following did run in to the back of them? Do they think they'd be able to claim off the following cars insurance? I'm sure there's a lot of drivers who still hold onto the myth that the car that hits you from behind is automatically at fault irregardless of whether their actions caused the collision.

King of the cuntists this afternoon.
Storming along a bus lane to avoid the queue, I think doing 55 in a 40. And at the roundabout at the end he lurches across through a gap barely worth the name because he's going right. A white Audi S3. And no, no-one thinks what a great, rich, sexy and assertive person you are - they just think you're a cunt.
And they're right.

According to the suv driving female, me. I was crossing the road and was on it when she appeared at the junction and just turned left straight at me. I managed to get back to the pedestrian island but barely. She screamed at me to stay off the road. What am I supposed to do? Levitate? As iy is my back and duff knee got a bloody good wrench and bloody hurt. I did not get the reg, I was too busy getting off the floor.

^ In fact, and I don't think that many of us are fully aware, when turning a corner to enter another road any pedestrian crossing that road at/near the junction has right of way (at least that's how it was when I passed my test many years ago) - not that it's any consolation if a car decides to run you over
