The 5 doesn't feel £20 grand better tbh even if objectively it probably is better overall than a 4. Just perhaps not by that big a margin!

Replacement chosen and, thank fook, it isn't a Ssangyong. Far from it, in fact. Superb 2.0TDI 190PS DSG 4x4 in Sportline spec. Loaded with kit and looks the dog's doodahs to my eyes. Very racy for my parents. They've gone with the hatch as sadly they lost one of their aged dogs just before Christmas and the other is not likely to be around too much longer, with replacement doggies looking unlikely at the moment. Plus, the hatch is still huge in the back and dad has a trailer for garden stuff. My dad clearly upped his original 15k to 17k budget by about 10k. Quite a change from the Terracan (seen in the background). They may yet keep that or the '08 Fiesta for now but undecided as neither is really worth that much. Anyway, that is a top choice in my book and it is a very smart looking thing indeed.    |

Very nice! The Superb really is growing on me recently, though I'm not sure I could face all the "extra" cash one needs for a new car these days. One of herself pals at the stables has an estate version about 2 years old; yet to blag a drive of it, but it looks very pleasant AND will fit most, if not all, my flying toys in with no bother.
