We can say enough is enough and the USA probably aren't far off. But the last time the US experienced a similar terrorist attack they dragged us all into a 20 year war in the middle east for zero gain so we're probably not in a place to offer such sound advice.

Why is religion such a power for good on one hand and a reason to inflict atrocities on the other, all at the same time? Do religions create extremists or do extremists hijack religions? I really don't know but if we can't find an end to this inter religion hatred it is going to end in a major world conflict which won't just pitch one country against another but also the populations of countries fighting their own countrymen.

Look at the evangelicals in the US, a supposedly civilsed place. They're completely tolerant of everybody else just so long as those other people want exactly the same as them (and, dare I say it look exactly the same as them).
It's all sky fairy nonsense anyway.
