Prices here have dropped to around €2.04 but at the weekend one chain of petrol stations did a birthday celebration and knocked 24.7c off per litre. The queues were shocking!

It was down to 181 at the Esso opposite work earlier. Amazing how just a month ago there was panic when it reached 165 and now we're looking forward to it getting into the 170s

The cheapest diesel here is still over £1.90….£1.92 at Asda. Diet unleaded is £1.85 and the good stuff is similar to diesel.

Filled up with Shell v-Power 100 in SK. £1.72 per litre. Compares well to £1.92 for the Aral equivalent on the Autobahn the day before. I will also point out that I only know this because I track electrical use and petrol use in a most complicated manner. Branded petrol is still cheaper than branded spring water.

Since I started going to work on the train, I've only visited the fuel station twice. I paid 1.87 for diesel this morning, which is a step in the right direction, but still about 87p a litre too much.

Went to my local Shell station last night and VPower petrol was 201.9p (diesel is still 197.9p and regular petrol is 193.9p). The place was empty! I only put £30 in and will go to Costco tomorrow for their premium petrol at 178.9p. Filling up at Costco will save me over £10. Come on Shell, who are you kidding?

She’ll or the retailer - I paid £1.84.9 for v power yesterday at a garage where regular petrol was £1.69 - only place locally that has a good supply of E5 which the Elgrand requires.

We have just returned from a week in Pembrokeshire and the fuel was noticeably cheaper there than it is back here.

I recall I used to find Woolworths had the Christmas stuff out in early September just as the schools went back (when my kids were young enough to go to school), so this is only a month early compared to "the old days". On my way to work this morning I passed two filling stations selling petrol below 180p/litre, first time for weeks that it's below that figure around these parts

August is very early, September is more usual timing for a retail changeover, but if they’ve sold out of summer seasonal products they need something to fill that space.
I paid £186.9 for diesel this evening, as cheap as it gets around here. I had 70 miles range left and it took £126 to fill, which felt a bit better than the £135-150 it has been for a while

I had to divert to the local Sainsburys on my way home yesterday evening to get some things for work. I needed fuel so filled up on my way out. Pleasantly surprised that diesel was 177.9, over 20p per litre less than the last fill about 3 weeks ago

I wondered why there was a queue outside the village petrol station and then I noticed the price. As I was in the Mini I doubled back and filled up. Unleaded at 154.9.

Cheapest diesel here is still 186.9, full fat petrol is 185.9 (normal is 175.9).
We can get a Costco membership, spotted it in our weekly commas last week. I was going to sign up as it would be well worth it as I’m in Milton Keynes quite regularly….but they don’t sell fuel.

Cheapest I've seen recently for diesel was today at Tesco in Blairgowrie - 170.9ppl. That cheaper even than our local Asda here, which is somewhat rare to say the least.
