Do you still harbour a desire for some near classic sports car, Racing? If so, you'd better get it done and garaged before the sound of tiny feet comes along!

My Dad had one back in the day. It was one of the first in the country on an H plate. He crashed the car just outside Arras in France on the way back to the UK. There was a big lawsuit in the states at the time over cars crashing in strange circumstances and he managed to piggyback that and got a bit of a payout. From memory it was all about the engine which sounded epic but the interior was a bit low rent even then.

I seem to recall it was a rear suspension issue - I think Top Gear Magazine went to the factory and if one of the suspension nuts was incorrectly installed, it could cause the geometry to change and cause a crash. I may be wrong. I quite like them, but couldn't live with the interior which was no better than your granny's Civic.

I always, had them on a pedestal I suppose, due to the Ayrton Senna connection. They were described as having brilliant handling that Senna was supposed to have signed off on. Never even sat in one but then again the V8 Aston also appeals and I have never sat in one of those either. Conception, appearance and the want one factor I suppose.
