I asked for the Caterham model for my birthday, not realising that we'd be eating in a restaurant when I was given it! Good kit though, took 4 hours or so to finish it.

The individual cars are OK price wise but the F1 team is a bit on the piss take side. 85 quid?! I bought the Ferrari F1 team with Kimi in it about 2 years ago for my son. It was and still is a good set. The best part was someone didn't want it and sold it to me for about $20. It's still on amazon from private sellers for $300!

I think I still prefer The Defender, but it's not been reduced by anything much..... more expensive than the Chiron

It was the cringey thing of having to open a present of Lego in a restaurant when one is in one's fifties. I waited until I got home before making a start on it!

My colleagues at Ford gave me a Lego Mustang as a gift at my farewell lunch. I made a noise that could probably be described as a 'shriek of excitement'.
