Nice soundbite, but if he turns out to be any good (for Ukraine) then Putin will have him killed anyway, unfortunately...

Perhaps they will double team the guy and do him as part of the show. Or should that be double tap.

I hope he succeeds.
The biggest issue for him is that Ukraine has always been two countries loosely joined in the middle. A Czech / Slovak solution is probably the only one that would stand any chance of ending the violence, but is probably totally unacceptable to the Ukranian power-base.

Ah yes, the much-feared Berlaymont League of Extraordinary Assassins. Weapon of choice: inducing suicide by threatening to force victim to listen to back-to-back speeches on federalism by Guy Verhofstadt.

But it's probably unacceptable to Russia as well. Kiev is after all the origin point for Russian culture: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kievan_Rus%27
Worth a read - it's a fascinating history.

What's the Brexit version of this in terms of football, defending our native land(s), and technology?

What's the Brexit version of this in terms of football, defending our native land(s), and technology? 1966, D-Day and Concorde...?

Isn't there some area that can be measured in the football pitches scale?
John Snow: "92% of the country have voted for Brexit parties, as a land mass that's equivalent to XXX football pitches or an area 5 times the size of Wales"

More like '92% of the country voted for Brexit parties, as a land mass that's equivalent to XXX Nuremberg Rallies where obviously these people have been before or an area 10 times the size of that apartheid state Israel'

That's not right, you're introducing a new scale to the measurements. I'm using the 'approved' BBC ones. If it were in a line the measurements would be quoted in metres and miles (I've never understood that one!)

I thought Jon Snow was Channel 4, not BBC?
Or is Channel 4 also part of the supposed media conspiracy against the Quest for the Holy Brexit?
