I came across this Ineos 4x4 review...
It looks a bit almost kit car like to me and for the price why not just get a Landie? I don't know... Anyway. I was gutted when he decided to build this in Europe rather than the UK. My area was once thought to be in the running and the jobs would have been nice.
Any 4x4 fans have a view on this car?

It's a lot better than an old Defender and you can't get a new old Defender.
I like it. It is a little pricey, but I think they are selling. I've seen a few in the flesh now. It's a lot less than a new Defender as well.

I thought when Harry did his comparison he said these were a bit more expensive than a new Defender?
I can see why he's made it but I think you have to really like the old Defender to want one over one of LRs products. I like all the accessories you can get and the switches on the ceiling looks cool (though maybe a bit less fun when you have to live them). The comment that it looks a bit like a kit car is a fair point. I remember seeing the odd few of those Santana Defenders made under license and it reminds me a bit of them.

The LWB utility is £55k which is a little cheaper than the equivalent Defender 110 Utility.

Googling tells me that the Grenadier starts at £65,618 and the Defender starts at £58,635 but I haven't gone further than that and for all I know cars of similar spec may be similarly priced or the Grenadier may end up cheaper. Given anything like comparable prices or even if the Defender is a bit more expensive I think that's the one I'd go for.
I'm happy with my Evoque but sadly I'm also happy with my Getz and MX5 too and one or more will probably have to go if/when Mrs WW passes her test in the UK as she'll then want a car, a small auto. I'm disappointed that she wont drive the Evoque. BTW. She's having all sorts of problems and today her instructor said he doesn't think she'll pass her test, I'm a bit baffled as she drove for years in Thailand.

I've been taking my Evoque to Tim Brown in Stokesley (I wouldn't really recommend them) and there's a Landie restoration place just over the road. I briefly thought a restored old one might be fun but when I googled reviews of the place there was nothing better than terrible.

There's a bit of a "problem" in the UK with being taught to pass the Test rather than how to drive. I can remember many years ago, one of the daughters of our neighbours married an American. He'd been driving in the USA for many years but failed his driving test here. Similarly my wife had diven in South America for many years but took 2 (or was it 3?) attempts to pass the UK driving tests. Basic but not really important requirements such as how you shuffle the steering wheel through your hands when manoeuvering were/are considered critical here, but not such things as anticipation of hazards far away but in front of you, general car control and keeping up with traffic. This was a long time ago before the "theory" test was introduced though

This was a long time ago before the "theory" test was introduced though I think Mrs WW's problems are more pressure/stress related which seems odd as she used to be a manager with a couple of hundred people under her or maybe it's just because in Thailand she'd passed her test long ago and got into bad habits, or a bit of both. She has problems maintaining her speed and if the instructor telly her to drop her speed as she's doing 33mph in a 30mph limit she'll drop down to 25mph and she then tries to increase her speed and ends up bouncing between too fast and too slow. Also like some women she doesn't see to be able to tell left from right and when the instructor says turn right she'll turn left. She gets confused with roundabouts too and when told to take the 3rd exit she'll count roads entering the roundabout too and end up taking the wrong exit. Sometimes she seems to have a good lesson but next time it might all just fall apart and this is what happens. After the last lesson the instructor must have been at his wits end as he said he doesn't think she'll pass but the week before she had a good lesson and he thought she would. I have no idea if she'll pass or fail spectacularly.

Difficult landing with what seems to be engine failure on a Mig-31. Anyone got a light?

Why would you ever want to watch F1 again? This is what racing and entertainment are about. I have watched all the Goodwood Revival You Tube videos over the past week but I think this is the best (just):
